Privacy Policy for Client Software

This privacy policy applies to software solutions developed by Metra for client companies. We are committed to protecting the confidentiality and integrity of all data processed within the software we develop.

1. Data Ownership

All data generated or processed by the software is owned by the client company. Metra does not claim ownership of any client data.

2. Data Collection and Use

Metra does not access or use data from client software unless explicitly agreed upon for support or maintenance purposes.

3. Security

Metra employs robust security measures in the development process to ensure the safety of the client’s data. However, the client is responsible for implementing and maintaining proper infrastructure and security configurations.

4. Data Transfer

Any transfer of data to third-party services or systems is governed by the client’s requirements and is their sole responsibility.

5. Support and Maintenance

Metra may require temporary access to the software environment for debugging and support. Such access will be granted at the client’s discretion and is governed by a separate agreement.

Terms and Conditions for Client Software

1. Ownership of Deliverables

Upon full payment, the client retains ownership of the developed software. Metra reserves the right to reuse non-proprietary components, frameworks, or libraries for other projects.

2. Intellectual Property

Custom code created specifically for the client is transferred to the client. Any open-source or third-party libraries used remain governed by their respective licenses.

3. Confidentiality

Metra agrees to keep all client data, project details, and sensitive information confidential and to use such information solely for the purpose of delivering the contracted services.

4. Liability

Metra is not liable for any damages, loss of data, or issues arising from misuse of the software or from third-party integrations unless explicitly stated in the contract.

5. Support Agreements

Post-delivery support, maintenance, or upgrades are subject to a separate support agreement. Any bug fixes within the warranty period, as defined in the contract, will be addressed at no additional cost.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement if terms are breached. The client is required to pay for work completed up to the termination date.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through mediation or in courts located in Pakistan under Pakistani law.
